Quips & Anecdotes - Savory Spice Shop

I couldn't resist myself from buying the lavender vanilla bean sugar. I mean, how could anyone resist? There were definitely a lot of other different kinds but the floral sweetness made me swoon. The entire store made me feel like I needed to stay there forever. Once I move into my own place, I know where I'll be shopping all the time.

SO, what am I talking about? Well I stumbled upon the new spice shop at OC Mart Mix last week and oh my word is it spectacular. Savory Spice Shop enticed me with its beautiful collections of spices and spice mixes that I hadn't seen before. It actually started off as a mom-and-pop shop in Denver but has since been open to franchising. I'm so glad that they chose Orange County as one of the franchise areas because I will definitely be visiting a few more times. Besides, I get $1 off if I bring back the same jar I bought (my total was $5.32 for the sugar). Did I also mention that they have tasters for the majority of their products? I was sampling so many of the intriguing flavors available like black onyx cocoa, parmesan pesto seasoning, and truffle salt. Anyhow, I shall now commence with the awesome pictures of just some of their selection.
