It's been a while since I did my first review for Cream Pan but it's also been a while since I've forced myself to try something new there. I mean, how does one resist their strawberry croissants and melon pan? Well they surprised me one day when I walked in and saw that they had two new pastries I hadn't seen before: the banana croissant and the strawberry-banana croissant.
Because I was also buying for other people, I resorted to sticking with the tried and true strawberry croissant (one does not simply deny these strawberry croissants) for my mass buy and getting two of the banana croissants. They were so tempting-looking even though I don't like bananas all too much. I'm glad I bought them though. Flaky and light, the croissant base was oh so perfect. For a nice surprise, there was a thin layer of chocolate something underneath the custard that was topped with sugar banana slices. Well done Cream Pan. I'll come back for the combo croissant next time. Also, great thought on making them long this time around.
