My friend had been bugging me to go here ever since it opened (she practically lives in the OC Mart Mix). We finally got a chance to go (during artisan gelato month too!). It was a small little area in the building with a nice selection of gelato. The guy behind the counter was hardly talkative or friendly but he still dutifully gave us our tasting samples.
I eventually decided on the hazelnut chip. It was quite good. The creaminess and strong hazelnut flavor made me appreciate the care that was most likely caressed into the scoop I had. The chips were plentiful and deliciously chocolatey. My friend had snagged the chocolate orange Krispy which was very tasty as well. I think the best option would be to grab the biggest size and share with others seeing as the small was priced at $4 just for myself. Next time, I shall see.
